hothead
Quick to anger
A hothead is someone quick to anger or rash action—a person who flies off the handle easily.
The term is mildly critical, suggesting impulsiveness rather than thoughtful response: Don't be such a hothead; think before you react.
As an adjective, hotheaded describes the temperament: his hotheaded approach to negotiations.
