Frodo

Frodo is the hobbit protagonist of J.R.R.

Tolkien's *The Lord of the Rings*, bearer of the One Ring on its journey to Mount Doom.

The name has become shorthand for an unlikely hero burdened with an overwhelming task: I felt like Frodo carrying this project across the finish line.

Frodo references often imply courage despite fear, or the weight of responsibility others can't share.
