Great Lake
North American freshwater
A Great Lake is any of the five large freshwater lakes along the U.S.-Canada border: Superior, Michigan, Huron, Erie, and Ontario.
Together they form the largest group of freshwater lakes in the world.
The term sometimes extends to other exceptionally large lakes: Lake Baikal is sometimes called a great lake.
