Fijians

South Pacific natives

Fijians are the indigenous people of Fiji, a Pacific island nation, or more broadly, any citizens or inhabitants of Fiji.

The term encompasses both the indigenous iTaukei people and Indo-Fijians, descendants of laborers brought from India during British colonial rule.

Fijians have a rich tradition of communal village life.
