Elizabeth Cady Stanton

Elizabeth Cady Stanton was an American activist who led the nineteenth-century women's suffrage movement alongside Susan B.

Anthony.

She organized the 1848 Seneca Falls Convention and drafted its Declaration of Sentiments, modeled on the Declaration of Independence: All men and women are created equal.

Her advocacy extended beyond voting rights to divorce reform and women's property rights.
