Derry

Foyle River city

Derry is a city in Northern Ireland, also known as Londonderry—the name itself a political marker, with nationalists preferring Derry and unionists Londonderry.

The city sits on the River Foyle and is known for its well-preserved 17th-century walls.

We drove up to Derry for the weekend.
