Delmarva Peninsula

Three-state Atlantic landmass

The Delmarva Peninsula is a roughly 170-mile-long landmass on the Atlantic coast of the United States, bounded by the Chesapeake Bay to the west and the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean to the east.

Its name combines the three states that share it: Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.

The region is known for its agricultural character, particularly poultry farming, and includes beach resort towns like Rehoboth and Ocean City.
