Delaware River

Pennsylvania-New Jersey boundary

The Delaware River flows roughly 330 miles from the Catskill Mountains in New York to Delaware Bay, forming the border between Pennsylvania and New Jersey for much of its length.

Washington's famous Christmas night crossing in 1776 took place on this river.

The Delaware supplies drinking water to millions in the Philadelphia and New York metropolitan areas.
