EU member
Union state currently
An EU member is a country that belongs to the European Union, the political and economic bloc of European nations.
Member states share certain laws, trade agreements, and (for most) a common currency.
The term appears in discussions of sovereignty, trade, and migration: Brexit made the UK no longer an EU member.
