Pilsen
Bohemian beer city
Pilsen is a city in the Czech Republic, known as the birthplace of pilsner beer—a pale, crisp lager first brewed there in 1842.
The name also appears in urban neighborhoods with Czech immigrant heritage, most notably Chicago's Pilsen district, now predominantly Mexican-American.
