Cyborg

Part machine, part organic

A cyborg is a being that combines organic and mechanical parts—a fusion of flesh and technology.

The term comes from "cybernetic organism" and appears most often in science fiction, describing humans enhanced with electronic implants or robotic components.

More loosely, anyone deeply dependent on technology might be called a cyborg: We're all cyborgs now, tethered to our phones.
