CRT monitors
Heavy old displays
CRT monitors are display screens that use cathode ray tubes—vacuum tubes that fire electron beams at a phosphorescent surface to create images.
These bulky, heavy devices dominated computing and television from the mid-20th century until flat-panel LCD and LED screens replaced them in the 2000s.
The office finally got rid of those old CRT monitors.
