clickthrough
Following a hyperlink
A clickthrough is the act of clicking a link, ad, or button to reach another destination—typically measured as a metric in digital marketing.
The clickthrough rate tracks what percentage of viewers actually click: Our email campaign had a 3% clickthrough rate.
As an adjective, it describes agreements users accept without reading: the clickthrough license nobody reads.
