snake_case
Snake_case is a naming convention in programming where words are joined by underscores and written in lowercase: user_name, total_count, get_file_path.
The underscores resemble a snake lying flat.
Common in Python and database work, it contrasts with camelCase, where capitals mark word boundaries instead.
