uppercase
Not small letters
Uppercase refers to capital letters—A, B, C rather than a, b, c.
The term comes from printing, where capital letters were stored in the upper of two type cases.
To uppercase something is to capitalize it: The form requires you to uppercase your surname.
The opposite is lowercase.
