repressurization
Restoring atmospheric pressure
Repressurization is the act of restoring pressure to a space that has lost it.
The term appears most often in aviation and aerospace contexts: The cabin began repressurization as the plane descended.
It also applies to industrial systems, diving chambers, and sealed environments that must return to normal atmospheric conditions after depressurization.
