gas laws
Boyle's and Charles's
The gas laws are a set of principles describing how gases behave under varying conditions of pressure, volume, and temperature.
Boyle's law relates pressure and volume; Charles's law relates volume and temperature; the ideal gas law combines these relationships into a single equation.
These laws assume idealized conditions—real gases deviate at extreme temperatures or pressures.
