reconstitution
Making whole again
Reconstitution is the process of restoring something to its original form, typically by adding water to a dried or concentrated substance: reconstitution of powdered milk, reconstitution of freeze-dried vaccines.
The term extends to rebuilding institutions or organizations that have been dissolved or dismantled: the reconstitution of the committee after the scandal.
In genetics, reconstitution refers to reassembling functional biological systems from their components.
