Dehydrated flavor blocks
Stock cubes are small compressed blocks of dehydrated meat, vegetable, or fish stock mixed with salt and seasonings.
Dissolved in hot water, they create instant broth for soups, sauces, and other dishes: Add two stock cubes to the pot.
Called bouillon cubes in American English.
The flavor is concentrated and often quite salty.
