tapir
Jungle trunk-nosed browser
A tapir is a large, pig-like mammal native to Central and South America and Southeast Asia, with a distinctive flexible snout resembling a short trunk.
Tapirs are herbivores related to horses and rhinoceroses, though their stocky build and snout give them an appearance all their own.
They're shy, mostly nocturnal, and often found near water.
