smartphone camera
Mobile photo device
A smartphone camera is the camera built into a mobile phone, now the most common way people take photographs.
The term distinguishes phone cameras from standalone digital cameras or DSLRs: Smartphone cameras have largely replaced point-and-shoots.
Quality varies widely, and flagship phones compete heavily on camera capabilities: The new model boasts a 108-megapixel smartphone camera.
