pelvic-floor
Internal support sling
The pelvic floor is the group of muscles and connective tissue forming the base of the pelvis, supporting the bladder, bowel, and uterus.
These muscles control urination and defecation and play a role in sexual function.
Pelvic-floor exercises (also called Kegels) strengthen this area, often recommended after childbirth or to address incontinence.
