pallet jack

Manual load lifter

A pallet jack is a wheeled tool for lifting and moving pallets.

The operator slides two flat forks under a pallet, pumps a handle to raise the load a few inches off the ground, then rolls it to a new location.

Manual pallet jacks are human-powered; electric versions handle the lifting and propulsion mechanically.

Also called a pallet truck.
