outliers
Points beyond norms
Outliers are data points or cases that fall far outside the normal range.
In statistics, an outlier is a value so distant from others in a dataset that it may skew results or suggest measurement error.
The term extends to people or things that don't fit patterns: She was an outlier among her conservative colleagues.
Malcolm Gladwell's book popularized the word for exceptional achievers whose success defies typical explanations.
