mudskipper

Fin-walking tidal fish

A mudskipper is a fish that can survive out of water, using its pectoral fins to crawl across mud flats and mangrove shores.

These tropical fish breathe through their skin when exposed to air and can even climb low branches.

Mudskippers were flopping across the tidal flat at low tide.
