macroorganisms
Life seen unaided
Macroorganisms are living things large enough to see without magnification—animals, plants, fungi visible to the naked eye.
The term exists mainly to contrast with microorganisms: The study examined how macroorganisms in the soil interact with bacterial communities.
Outside technical contexts, we just call them organisms or creatures.
