lowriders
Chassis-scraping custom cars
Lowriders are customized cars, typically older American models, modified with hydraulic or airbag suspension systems that allow the chassis to sit extremely low to the ground or bounce dramatically.
The style emerged from Mexican American communities in the American Southwest.
A lowrider is also someone who drives such a vehicle: The lowriders cruised down the boulevard on Sunday afternoon.
