lifted trucks
Raised suspension vehicles
Lifted trucks are pickup trucks or SUVs modified with suspension lifts to raise the body higher off the ground.
The modification allows for larger tires and increased ground clearance, ostensibly for off-road capability, though many lifted trucks never leave pavement.
In American culture, they're associated with rural identity, masculinity, and conspicuous automotive expression: He rolled up in a lifted truck with chrome everything.
