Impala
Longtime GM nameplate
The Impala is a full-size car manufactured by Chevrolet, first produced in 1958 and becoming one of the best-selling American automobiles of the 1960s.
The nameplate has been revived several times: My grandfather drove a '64 Impala.
The car appears frequently in American popular culture, notably in the television series Supernatural. (Lowercase impala is the African antelope.)
