lanyards

Neck ID holders

Lanyards are cords or straps worn around the neck or wrist to hold something—an ID badge, keys, a whistle, a phone.

Originally nautical rigging, the term now most commonly refers to the ubiquitous fabric straps at conferences and workplaces: Everyone at the convention wore lanyards with their credentials.

They often display logos or branding.
