bird call
Chirp or whistle
A bird call is the sound a bird makes, or a device or vocal imitation used to mimic that sound.
Hunters and birdwatchers use bird calls to attract specific species: He blew into the duck call.
The term also refers to a bird's natural vocalization: I woke to bird calls outside my window.
