hipbone
Hip's skeletal structure
The hipbone is either of the two large, irregularly shaped bones forming the sides of the pelvis.
Each hipbone connects the spine to the leg and consists of three fused bones: the ilium, ischium, and pubis.
The prominent ridge you can feel at your waist is the top of the ilium, often called the hip.
