grazers

Meadow roaming herbivores

Grazers are animals that feed on grass and other low-growing plants, as opposed to browsers, which eat leaves from trees and shrubs.

Cattle, sheep, and horses are classic grazers.

The term extends to people who eat small amounts throughout the day rather than full meals: I'm more of a grazer—I never sit down for proper dinners.
