footbone
Toe's inner structure
A footbone is any of the bones in the foot—the tarsals, metatarsals, and phalanges that form the ankle, arch, and toes.
The word appears in the spiritual "Dem Bones": The footbone connected to the anklebone.
Outside that context, anatomical terms like metatarsal are more common in medical usage.
