finger bone
Knuckle's structural component
A finger bone is any of the small bones that form the skeletal structure of a finger.
Humans have fourteen finger bones in each hand—three in each finger and two in the thumb.
The technical term is phalanx (plural phalanges), but finger bone serves in everyday speech: The X-ray showed a fractured finger bone.
