flipside
Other side, metaphorically
The flipside is the reverse or opposite aspect of something.
Originally the B-side of a vinyl record—the back of the disc, often featuring a lesser-known track.
Now used figuratively for any alternative perspective or consequence: The flipside of fame is loss of privacy.
Also spelled as two words: flip side.
