antipode
Exact opposite point
An antipode is a point on the opposite side of the Earth from another point—if you dug straight through the planet, you'd emerge at its antipode.
The term extends to anything diametrically opposed: His philosophy was the antipode of mine.
Usually appears in the plural antipodes, which also refers specifically to Australia and New Zealand as seen from Britain—literally on the opposite side of the globe.
