silver lining
Hope despite hardship
A silver lining is a hopeful or positive aspect within an otherwise bad situation, from the proverb "every cloud has a silver lining"—the idea that even dark clouds have bright edges when backlit by the sun.
The silver lining of losing my job was finally having time to write.
Often appears with "find" or "look for."
