flat-bottomed

Like a barge

Flat-bottomed describes something with a level underside rather than a curved or pointed one.

The term applies most often to boats designed for shallow water, where a flat hull prevents running aground: a flat-bottomed skiff, flat-bottomed river barges.

Containers, pans, and bags can also be flat-bottomed.
