fidget spinners
Handheld spinning gadgets
Fidget spinners are small handheld toys with a central bearing that allows them to spin between the fingers.
Marketed as stress relievers and focus aids, they became a massive fad around 2017, appearing everywhere from classrooms to boardrooms before quickly fading from popularity: Schools started banning fidget spinners because kids wouldn't stop playing with them.
