dorsum
Top of foot
Dorsum is a technical term for the back or upper surface of something, used mainly in anatomy and zoology.
The dorsum of the hand is the back of it (opposite the palm); the dorsum of the tongue is its upper surface.
The adjective dorsal derives from it: a dorsal fin, the dorsal side of a leaf.
