venter
Anatomical midsection term
A venter is the belly or abdomen, or more broadly, any belly-shaped cavity or swelling.
The term appears mainly in anatomy and zoology to describe the underside of an animal's body or a bulging structure.
In law, venter designates a mother as the source of offspring: children of the first venter means children from a first wife.
