crepe paper
Crinkled decorating sheets
Crepe paper is thin, crinkled paper with a textured surface, used for decorations, streamers, and craft projects.
The distinctive wrinkled texture comes from crimping during manufacture, which also makes it slightly stretchy: The gym was festooned with crepe paper for the dance.
It comes in bright colors and tears easily when wet.
