zonk

Suddenly lose consciousness

Zonk means to hit hard or stun, often knocking someone out: He got zonked on the head.

More commonly, to zonk out is to fall asleep suddenly or lose consciousness, especially from exhaustion or intoxication: I zonked out on the couch after dinner.

Zonked describes someone deeply asleep, unconscious, or heavily impaired by drugs or alcohol: completely zonked on painkillers.
