Bladed circular weapon
A chakram is a circular throwing weapon with a sharpened outer edge, originating in South Asia and associated especially with Sikh warriors.
The flat metal ring is spun around the finger and hurled at enemies.
The weapon gained wider recognition through the television series *Xena: Warrior Princess*, where the protagonist's chakram became iconic: She caught the chakram as it returned to her hand.
