Camera-ready describes material prepared in final form for reproduction, requiring no further editing or formatting before printing or publishing.
The term originated when documents were photographed to create printing plates: The manuscript must be camera-ready by Friday.
Now used broadly for any finalized content: Submit camera-ready artwork as a high-resolution PDF.
