calorimeter
Thermal measurement device
A calorimeter is a device that measures heat—specifically, the heat absorbed or released during chemical reactions, physical changes, or heating processes.
Scientists use calorimeters to determine the caloric content of food, the energy output of fuels, or the heat capacity of materials: The bomb calorimeter measured how many calories the sample released when burned.
