box jumps
Explosive stepping exercise
Box jumps are a plyometric exercise in which you jump from the floor onto an elevated platform, then step or jump back down and repeat.
The movement builds explosive leg power and cardiovascular endurance: I added box jumps to my workout routine.
Height varies by fitness level, typically ranging from twelve to thirty inches.
