book titles
Cover page headings
Book titles are the names given to books.
In writing, they follow formatting conventions: italics in formal publishing, quotation marks in casual contexts, or sometimes all caps or underlined.
When speaking, people sometimes add verbal cues: I'm reading "The Great Gatsby"—have you read it?
Short works like chapters or poems get quotation marks even when the larger work is italicized.
