bagpipe
Tartan melody maker
A bagpipe is a wind instrument with a bag that serves as an air reservoir, feeding multiple pipes—typically a melody pipe (chanter) and one or more drones that produce continuous tones.
The player inflates the bag by blowing through a tube or pumping bellows.
Most associated with Scottish Highland culture, bagpipes exist in many regional varieties across Europe and beyond: The sound of bagpipes filled the glen.
